Ken Carson is bringing his Xperimenting Tour to the Orlando Amphitheater on Saturday, September 12, at 7:30 p.m., and the show is nearly sold out days before doors open. Tickets are running $100 to $298 for the open-air, general-admission venue on West Colonial Drive, which just months ago watched Carson command a much bigger stage in the same city.
From Festival Headliner to His Own Stage
Back in May, Carson stepped into a headlining slot at Rolling Loud Orlando at Camping World Stadium after YoungBoy Never Broke Again withdrew from the festival lineup, according to Wikipedia. He used that festival set to help launch the rollout for his fifth studio album, *Xperiment*. That festival appearance came during a stretch when Rolling Loud made Orlando its sole U.S. festival stop for 2026, drawing tens of thousands of fans to Camping World Stadium from May 8 to May 10, a run Hoodline previously covered as local venue officials anticipated a significant economic boost from travel and hotel bookings.
Saturday’s Orlando Amphitheater date is a different animal entirely: an open-air, general-admission venue on the Central Florida Fairgrounds along Lawne Lake with a capacity of 10,000, according to the Central Florida Fairgrounds. The privately funded venue opened in 2016, with an open-air, general-admission format.
New Music Fueling the Setlist
As reported by Orlando Weekly, Carson will showcase his Billboard-charting album *Xperiment* at the show, alongside freshly released tracks from his mini-album *cartunez*. Carson said it returned to his core early sound, per uDiscoverMusic’s report. *Xperiment* itself arrived July 3 as his fifth studio album, a 22-track project featuring Playboi Carti, Young Thug, Lil Uzi Vert, and Destroy Lonely, and it debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200, Complex reported.
The Orlando stop falls in the middle of Carson’s fourteen-concert Xperimenting Tour, which kicked off August 26 and wraps in late September, per the same uDiscoverMusic account.
