ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – Twenty-five years after the September 11th attacks, a Roanoke man is reflecting on the decisions and seconds that separated him from nearly 3,000 people who did not survive that day.
Josh Mattox was 22 and fresh off graduation from Roanoke College when he landed his first job. He was training inside the World Trade Center in New York City, an opportunity he said most of his college friends could only dream of.
“I got there on Sunday, September the 9th at about 7 p.m,” Mattox said.
