Foot chase leads to discovery of methamphetamine and paraphernalia in backpack

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Around 10:45 p.m. on Sept. 8, an officer with Lincoln Police Department (LPD) witnessed a male leave the NP Mart on a bicycle.

The officer noticed the male failed to use a designated crosswalk to cross O Street. The officer then attempted to contact the male, who began to flee.

The male, later identified as Noah Yankton, 46, crashed his bike and began to flee on foot…
