ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque police pulled over what appeared to be another police car earlier this week; it had flashing lights, a siren, and a PA system, but after making a traffic stop, the black Ford Crown Victoria turned out to be a fake. APD said they responded to calls of a car operating as a patrol car, trying to pull over people. Police said there were two people inside, along with a black ski mask, loose bullets, and a sawed-off shotgun.
Stolen car suspect arrested after 120 mph chase near Silver City
Police said the driver, 36-year-old Matthew Norton, is a convicted felon. He was charged with illegal possession of firearms. Police said a juvenile was in Norton’s car.
