A SeaTac Police sergeant helped put out much of a van fire on I-5 earlier this week while the owner was trying to save his daughters’ belongings from the back, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office.
No injuries were reported.
The sergeant was driving on the freeway when he spotted the van on the shoulder fully engulfed in flames, grabbed a fire extinguisher from his vehicle and stepped in to help, police said. He and the driver could be seen in the video fighting the flames…
