Suspect in deadly April shooting in Vancouver turns self in to Tacoma police

VANCOUVER Wash. (KPTV) – A suspect in an April 18 shooting that killed a 20-year-old man in Vancouver turned himself in to police in Tacoma, Wash., on Tuesday, according to police.

The Vancouver Police Department said they were told on Tuesday that Maai Hinton, wanted in connection to the death of Guerlin Caetano, surrendered to Tacoma police and was being held at the Pierce County Jail.

According to police, Caetano was shot and injured while sitting in a car parked near Southeast Mill Plain Boulevard and Southeast 118th Avenue early in the morning of April 18. Caetano was rushed to the hospital, where he later died…
