KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City Restaurant Week is returning for its 18th year, bringing premier dining offers to metro residents while supporting local restaurants and charity initiatives.
The annual event will add an extra day onto the calendar this year, extending it to 11 days from the traditional 10-day run. It will begin on Jan. 8 and end on Jan. 18, concluding the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend.
KC Restaurant Week is a dining event dedicated to supporting the restaurant industry and showing off the metro’s diverse culinary scene. It also promotes three local charities and nonprofits, including the Greater KC Restaurant Association Educational Foundation, the Visit KC Foundation, and a featured community beneficiary, Pete’s Garden.
As part of the exciting event, every participating restaurant will pledge 10% of all menu sales to said charities. In its 17-year history, KC Restaurant Week has raised more than $4.5 million for these causes…
