WESTMERE, N.Y. (WNYT) – A fire at Brandywine Apartments in Westmere displaced 17 people out of their homes and damaged eight apartments.
Fire officials said the fire broke out around 8 a.m. at the Brandywine Apartments in the Guilderland hamlet of Westmere. Assistant Fire Chief Jason Paiko said it started on the second floor, possibly in a kitchen or bedroom.
