HIXSON, Tenn. — The mold cleanup at Hixson High School is moving forward, but students and staff aren’t going back into the affected areas of the school’s music wing yet.
In a letter sent to parents on Wednesday, Principal Dr. LeAngela Rogers says an independent environmental consultant has now developed a formal plan to remediate the areas where mold was found.
And once that work is finished, the company will test the air again before deciding whether the space is safe to reopen…
