CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Tennessee has reported six measles cases so far this year, and Kentucky has confirmed 44, but local health officials say there are no confirmed measles cases in Clarksville-Montgomery County as of Sept. 9.
According to the Tennessee Department of Health, three of the state’s cases were confirmed in East Tennessee, while one case each was confirmed in Memphis-Shelby County, the Mid-Cumberland region and Nashville-Davidson County. Three of the cases were reported in June and July, and the remaining three were confirmed during the week of Aug. 23.
