A suspected car burglar was arrested after he allegedly handed over his own driver’s license while trying to use a stolen debit card at an Ocala gas station, only to return as a deputy was reviewing video surveillance footage of the incident.
On Sunday, September 6, Mitchell Shamar Padro, 26, was taken into custody at the Murphy USA gas station located on Cedar Radial Pass in connection with a vehicle burglary incident, according to an arrest report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
