Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) Third District officers and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) were dispatched at approximately 2:05pm Thursday to the 1700 block of January Drive in White Oak for a reported shooting.
Police initially reported that one adult male had been shot and that no suspect was in custody. In an update, MCPD confirmed that one male was pronounced dead . Major Crimes detectives have been notified and are investigating.
