PORT ORANGE, Fla. (CBS12) — A former Port Orange jiu-jitsu coach was arrested in New Mexico after detectives said he had an inappropriate relationship with a 16-year-old student at the academy where he worked.
The Port Orange Police Department said its Criminal Investigations Division was notified July 20 about allegations involving Estevan Gabriel Martinez-Garcia, 33, who was a coach at Bully Me Now Jiujitsu.
Police said their Internet Crimes Against Children unit led the investigation and determined Martinez-Garcia allegedly engaged in grooming behavior and sexual contact with the teen between spring 2025 and spring 2026. Detectives also accused him of sending sexual images to the juvenile…
