SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Several patrol cars blocked the streets near the Hotel on Phillips late Wednesday afternoon. Officers were called in to help the Sioux Falls Area Fugitive Task Force.
“The subject in the room that they were conversing with refused to come out, which eventually led to a barricaded subject situation, which led to the Sioux Falls Police Department responding to assist with this call,” said Sgt. Aaron Benson with SFPD.

KELOLAND News captured footage of Charles Einck, 47, of Ruthton, Minnesota, leaving the hotel in handcuffs. He was wanted out of Minnesota.
“Any time that there’s an individual that’s wanted that out of state, they will usually contact us, give us whatever information that they have: background on the charges, location, any leads that they might have to make them think that they’re in our area,” said Sgt.
