Woman Killed After SUV Strikes Trees, Catches Fire On I-24 In Robertson County

ROBERTSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – A Tennessee woman was killed Wednesday morning after her SUV collided with another vehicle, left Interstate 24 and struck several trees before catching fire, according to a preliminary report obtained by Smokey Barn News from the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred on Wednesday morning, Sept. 9, on I-24 East near mile marker 20, the first call coming into 911 at 8:49 a.m. (LOCATION OF CRASH) The crash involved a gold 2006 Acura MDX driven by 45-year-old Teresa D.
