HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle presented his proposed fiscal year 2027 budget to the city council Thursday night.
The budget plan shows a balance of $360,593,840 in expenditures and the same amount in projected revenues. The total budget is $14,757,336 over 2026’s budget of $345,836,504.

The mayor said the budget includes $22 million for road resurfacing and maintenance for park expansions.
