HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – HAPPI Health is now officially a federally qualified health center after receiving a New Access Points award, a designation aimed at expanding access to health care in Huntsville.
U.S. Rep. Dale Strong and Health Resources and Services Administrator Tom Engels visited HAPPI Health on Thursday to highlight the federal investment. HAPPI Health is one of just 158 health centers nationwide selected for the award. The more than $102 million federal investment will expand access to primary care for nearly a million people nationwide.
