10 Des Moines residents sentenced in meth distribution conspiracy

DES MOINES, Iowa — Ten Des Moines residents were sentenced to various terms in federal prison for their parts in a drug distribution conspiracy, according to officials.

The United States Attorney’s Office, Southern District of Iowa, announced Wednesday that ten men and women from Des Moines had been sentenced following their pleas in a conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine case from 2025.

Between March and September 2025, the group obtained and distributed methamphetamine within Des Moines and elsewhere, according to court documents and evidence presented in court.
