Master Plan process begins for Dane County Regional Airport

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – On Thursday, Dane County Executive Melissa Agard announced a $5.8 million master plan to ensure major upgrades to the Dane County Regional Airport.

The plan will be used by Dane County Regional Airport (MSN) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to document the current airport conditions and future needs so they can be incorporated into improvements.

The process begins with a complete airfield evaluation and includes numerous other components, including property inventory mapping, environmental assessments, examination of future needs and demands, Airport Geographic Information System survey, parking and ground transportation evaluations and future development options on airport property, officials said…
