There are going to be some emotional scenes in Chapel Hill this weekend, as beloved UNC basketball great Caleb Wilson is back on campus for a quick visit. Welcome home, Caleb! Wilson making the trip over works out perfectly for Michael Malone, too, as this is set to be a MAJOR recruiting weekend for him and his staff.
In case you missed it, North Carolina locked in official visits with CJ Rosser and Jordan Page, both of whom are 5-star prospects. The pressure is on for Malone to make sure their trips go as close to perfect as possible, but this is where Wilson can step in and do the Tar Heels a huge favor.
Everyone knows just how much Wilson loves Carolina, and the feeling is mutual. And it’s safe to assume he wants UNC to land big-name prospects now that he has said goodbye to the program, too.
