A cat colony in a Columbus subdivision has become a flashpoint in a standoff between the Columbus Consolidated Government and Paws Humane Society.
Officials and residents are debating how to handle the colony — and Paws executive director Courney Pierce warned that removing the cats as requested could result in mass euthanasia.
