Knowing what to do around electricity can make all the difference when first responders are facing an emergency. Local agencies got a firsthand look at those hazards during Alabama Power’s Safe-T-Zone training in Prattville on Sept. 10.
Held at the City of Prattville Public Training Facility, the 45-minute program was led by Alabama Power line workers using a custom-built trailer powered by 14,400 volts of electricity.
