GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Drivers in Green Bay are being told to expect delays starting on Monday as the Leo Frigo Memorial Bridge undergoes routine inspections.
According to a release from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, the Bureau of Structures has announced that routine inspections will be done on the Leo Frigo starting on Monday, September 14, and lasting through Thursday, September 17.

Due to the routine inspections, the bridge is expected to cause delays as it will be down to one lane of traffic during the following inspection days and times:
- Southbound I-43
- Right lane closure across Leo Frigo, daily, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday, Sept. 14, and Tuesday, Sept. 15.
- Northbound I-43
- Right lane closure across the Leo Frigo, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 16, and Thursday, Sept. 17.
During the stated times, those traveling across the Leo Frigo may see bridge inspectors, inspection equipment, and drones.

Officials are asking drivers to pay attention to the roadway, posted signage, and for any backups when crossing the bridge as crews will be utilizing specialized bridge inspection vehicles for inspection work and may also be outside of the vehicles and inspecting the deck within the right lane closure.
WisDOT states that the bridge is safe and no issues have been identified at this time. All work is said to be weather-dependent…
