Family demands justice after Shreveport hit-and-run death

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Shreveport police say 70-year-old Estelle Ford was killed in a hit and run on Labor Day, and her family is now asking anyone with information to come forward.

According to police, Ford was found unresponsive by the side of the road along Gideon Street in the Eden Gardens neighborhood. She was taken to a hospital, where she later died.

Ford’s grandson, Jawuan Ford, said his family will continue searching for answers and wants the person responsible to be held accountable.

“My family is not resting until we find you and if anybody has any type of information to finding out who did this, please let us know,” he said…
