ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Another active weather day is expected today, but the weather does trend quieter Sunday into the work week.
What to expect today
Areas of locally heavy rain are already moving into west and northwest Georgia this morning. Additional showers and isolated storms are expected to continue through the afternoon hours, eventually shifting into east and northeast Georgia by mid to late afternoon.
