SW Mich. firefighters climb stairs in full gear to honor those lost on 9/11

Twenty-five years after the September 11 attacks, firefighters across southwest Michigan put on their gear and climbed stairs to honor the 343 firefighters who lost their lives that day.

The ceremony included the toll of a bell, radio traffic from that day, boots on concrete stairs, and the names of the fallen read aloud. The event was held at the Wings Event Center.
