A 72-year-old grandfather was fatally struck by a car while riding his bicycle at a busy intersection.
Robert Fore, 72, was cycling near McFadden Avenue and Fairview Street shortly before 7 p.m. local time on Friday, Sept. 4, when a vehicle hit him from behind, according to KTLA. The impact threw Fore from his bicycle and left him seriously injured in the roadway, the Santa Ana Police Department said in a statement on social media the next day.
