Gwinnett Public Safety Fall Festival returns Saturday with motorcycle competition, Touch-a-Truck

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — Gwinnett County residents will have a chance to meet local first responders, explore emergency vehicles and watch skilled police motorcyclists compete when the annual Public Safety Fall Festival returns Saturday.

The Gwinnett Police Department will host its 17th annual Public Safety Fall Festival from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, at Gwinnett Field, 2500 Buford Drive in Lawrenceville.

The free event is designed to strengthen connections between residents and the county’s public safety agencies.

Attendees will be able to meet representatives from Gwinnett police, Fire and Emergency Services, the Department of Corrections and the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office. Other county departments, community organizations and local vendors also will participate…
