JAMES CITY COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) — The long-term closure of Six Mount Zion Road at the I-64 overpass between Mount Laurel Road and La Grange Parkway has been reopened as of Sept. 11, announced the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).
The overpass had been closed since Sept. 2025 to allow crew members to complete bridge-widening work.
Following the reopening, motorists should still expect temporary flaggers on Six Mount Zion Road as work continues at this location. Drivers are asked to use caution in construction zones and follow all posted signs…
