Syracuse, N.Y. — Downtown Syracuse still has a little summer left in it. Thousands gathered in Clinton Square Friday evening for the opening night of Syracuse’s Downtown Irish Fest, filling the square for a weekend of upbeat foot-tapping music, dancing and food.
