An Indianola woman has been sentenced after pleading guilty to two burglary charges in Polk County.
According to the order of disposition, 54-year-old Kimberly Sue Singleton was sentenced yesterday in Polk County District Court after previously entering an Alford plea to second-degree burglary, as a lesser offense, and third-degree burglary. The second-degree burglary conviction is a Class C felony, while the third-degree burglary conviction is a Class D felony.
The court sentenced Singleton to up to ten years in prison on the second-degree burglary conviction and up to five years on the third-degree burglary conviction. The sentences will run concurrently with each other, but consecutively to a separate Warren County case. Both prison sentences were suspended, and Singleton was placed on four years of probation…
