Holly Burns, 44, assistant principal at Dennis-Yarmouth Middle School, was arrested Aug. 9 in downtown Boston after police said her Jeep drove the wrong way into oncoming traffic, then nearly backed into a cruiser.
She is charged with felony OUI (third offense), reckless driving, and improper operation. Police reported a .08% BAC, slurred speech, and a spilled beer can plus THC products in the vehicle. She has prior OUIs out of Plymouth District Court, according to the police report.
Burns pleaded not guilty Aug. 10, was released with no-drive / no-alcohol conditions and a monitor, and returns to court Sept. 22. Her lawyer declined comment…
