SPRING VALLEY, Ohio (WKEF) — The Therapeutic Riding Institute held a sold out Stetson and Sterling Gala Saturday night, giving the community the opportunity to witness TRI’s mission in-person.
The event, themed “Under the Western Stars”, showcased how TRI partners people with their horses to promote physical, cognitive, behavioral, emotional and social wellbeing.
Denise Swick of Dayton shared, “It really does do a lot of good because it’s just a unique type of therapy that’s not therapy. The horses really do understand and are they’re so intuitive.”…
