KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — A vacant piece of land near downtown Knoxville could have a new purpose in the years ahead, and city leaders want the community to help shape what comes next.
Hosted by the Knoxville Community Development Corporation, a community block party was held on this vacant site Saturday to kick off the 12–18-month listening process for this future project. Knoxville members, new and old, were given the space to tell their stories, their history and share their ideas for what the future of this lot holds.
