LEROY TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WLNS) — Police are looking for a potential witness of a crash that killed two siblings riding their bikes.
The crash on Sept. 5 on Grand River Avenue near North Meech Road in Leroy Township killed 12-year-old Calvin. His 13-year-old sister, Karalee Shepard, died of complications from the crash on Thursday, the siblings’ mother said and Michigan State Police confirmed.
“Our hearts are broken beyond what we can put into words,” the family wrote in a social media post.
