The Western Virginia Regional Industrial Facility Authority voted Friday to enter a purchase agreement for land at Wood Haven Technology Park in Roanoke County, according to Cardinal News, while refusing to disclose the buyer’s identity, the sale price, or the intended use of the property.
The vote authorises the authority’s executive director and other officials to finalise the agreement and sign closing documents.
In a statement to WDBJ7, the authority described the agreement as an initial step in a due diligence process, noting it does not constitute a completed sale.
