LEBANON COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — Imagine living to 100 years of age after serving your country in the military. Now imagine meeting another veteran for the first time who is also marking a century of life on the same day as you.
That will be reality for William DiFrancesco and Joseph Saukulyak on Monday, Sept. 14. The two are scheduled to come together at Fort Indiantown Gap in Annville, Lebanon County, to celebrate their shared birthday of Sept. 22, 1926.

DiFrancesco was an aircraft mechanic for the Army during World War II. Saukulyak was a Navy storekeeper during the same time, tasked with disbursing supplies and handling payroll.
Both veterans will meet Maj. Gen. John Pippy, the adjutant general and head of the Department of Military Affairs (DMVA) for Pennsylvania, along with other military leaders. They will receive a tour of the Pennsylvania National Guard Museum and be given a signed proclamation from Gov. Josh Shapiro as well…
