CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — The Mechanicsburg Chamber of Commerce will be holding its 22nd annual golf outing in support of charity.
The tournament will take place Friday at Rich Valley Golf in Silver Spring Township. Registration and lunch is scheduled for noon, while tee time is at 1 p.m.

This year’s Charity of Choice is New Hope Ministries, which will receive a portion of the proceeds from the event to “assist those in need through their food bank, workforce development, housing and transportation assistance programs.” Additional funding will be used for community events in the area, including the Street of Treats and the Community Tree Lighting.
“Over the years, our golf outing has become notorious for its great value. Because of generous donors, all of our golfers may walk away with a prize,” said Jeff Palm, Executive Director of the Mechanicsburg Chamber of Commerce in a press release. “It’s a wonderful way to support a great cause – all while having fun, too.”…
