BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — A man was shot and killed in North Birmingham on Monday morning.
According to Sgt. LaQuitta Wade with the Birmingham Police Department, officers responded to the 2000 block of 30th Avenue North shortly after 11 a.m. regarding a report of a person shot. Officers then found the man lying unresponsive inside the doorway of an apartment.
Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service personnel took the man to UAB Hospital. The man was pronounced dead at the hospital…
