The weekend started a little hot, but didn’t finish that way – Sunday saw much nicer temperatures, and the week ahead looks pretty good as well.
Saturday’s highs were in the middle to upper 90’s in the Valley, but a dynamic Summer storm swung through the Pacific Northwest and northern California Saturday night, which kicked up onshore winds all over California. That onshore push made it a bit breezy in the San Joaquin Valley Saturday night, and brought cooler weather from the coast to us: our highs were 10 to 15 degrees cooler on Sunday! Sunday saw highs only make it to 82 in Merced, 84 in Madera, and 85 in Fresno & Hanford.
