LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– The Michigan Unemployment Insurance Agency is reintroducing unscheduled walk-in services at all 12 local offices across the state. The update restores walk-in accessibility for the first time since before the COVID-19 pandemic.
People can choose to schedule a visit, walk in without an appointment, or use the new self-service kiosks. The UIA notes that pre-scheduled appointments remain the top priority, but walk-ins are now accepted as capacity permits at offices including Detroit, Grand Rapids, Lansing, Saginaw and Sterling Heights.
