LAKELAND, Fla. — A bicyclist has died from his injuries following a Friday morning crash on Harden Boulevard, according to the Lakeland Police Department.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the 1700 block of Harden Boulevard around 8:42 a.m. on Sept. 11 after receiving reports of a crash. Investigators stated an orange Ford Ranger was driving north in the inside lane near Forest Park Street when a bicyclist heading east crossed directly into the truck’s path, resulting in the collision.
Lakeland Police patrol officers, Polk County Fire Rescue, and the Lakeland Fire Department arrived on the scene to administer life-saving aid. Paramedics took the cyclist to Lakeland Regional Health with critical injuries…
