The Brunswick County Planning Board will consider two rezonings and two planned developments totaling 450 possible homes on nearly 170 acres Monday evening.
The board will also amend the Brunswick County Unified Development Ordinance to comply with House Bill 1222, which took effect July 2 and shifted authority for final development decisions from the planning board to county commissioners. The planning board will have approval authority for development decisions on projects submitted before July 2. The planning board is holding a public hearing on the proposed amendments Monday.
