First Alert Forecast: A big warm up Tuesday with rain in the forecast late

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – A slow-moving, but nearby front will aid in bringing back two weather elements to the area: much warmer air and rain chances.

Tuesday looks dry by and large under partly sunny skies, with highs in the mid to upper 80s. Late Tuesday, however, clusters of showers and thunderstorms (largely non-severe) will spread through the Great Lakes region, bringing occasional rain, downpours, and thunder overnight through Wednesday morning.

A lull in the activity is expected midday Wednesday with cooler highs near 80º, but more scattered downpours and thunderstorms are possible Thursday morning and afternoon…
