MANLIUS, N.Y. — The Board of Education with the Fayetteville-Manlius Central School District reviewed a proposed $59 million capital project slated to be voted on later this year; following a public comment period.
The project involves necessary infrastructure upgrades across three schools in the district. The Enders Elementary School, Eagle Hill Middle School, and F-M High School will see their HVAC systems overhauled and upgraded into A.C. Units along with overall electrical upgrades.
District leaders say the electrical transformers at all three buildings are “past their end of life” and argued upgrades are necessary to maintain electricity in the Schools. District leaders also said the HVAC systems at all three buildings are dated, some as far back as 1965, and argued upgraded A.C.
