Northeast Radio SD News – Watertown, SD – The Watertown Arrows gave second‑rated Tea Area all they could handle Friday night before falling 28‑21 in a hard‑fought Class 11AA matchup at the Allen Mitchell Athletic Complex.
Tea quarterback Mitch Grant proved the difference, rushing for 188 yards and two touchdowns while adding 141 passing yards and an 81‑yard scoring reception. His 22‑yard keeper with 5:17 remaining sealed the Titans’ win.
Watertown (2‑1) led 14‑7 at halftime after Lincoln Schutt’s 2‑yard touchdown run and Kaeden Himmerich’s 23‑yard strike to Braden Jenc. Schutt added another score from the 1‑yard line in the fourth quarter to tie the game before Tea’s late surge.
