University of Michigan student sues school for denying in-state tuition

ANN ARBOR, MI – A University of Michigan student accusing the school of wrongfully denying in-state tuition prices in a federal lawsuit.

Alen Henry Bean, a junior who plays soccer, alleges the university improperly denied him in-state tuition prices due to a discrepancy between addresses on his parents’ documentation caused by them working overseas for the federal government, according to a Sept. 10 federal complaint.
