The Marion County Coronor’s Office released the name of the Bloomington man who died after a Saturday, Sept. 12, single-vehicle accident near the intersection of South Fairfax and East Will Sowders roads.
Michael Galardo, 61, was transported to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis at some point after the accident after first being taken to IU Health Bloomington Hospital. He died at Methodist on Sunday, Sept. 13.
Galardo was riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The Monroe County Major Crash Investigation Team is continuing to investigate the accident.
