LEBANON, Ind. — A Ponca City man was killed in a crash that occurred at 5:45 p.m. on Sept. 14 on a Meta data center construction site in Lebanon, Ind. near County Road 400 West and SR 32, within Lebanon’s developing LEAP District.
In a press release, Lebanon police report that Christopher Lawe, 33, was reportedly struck by a pickup truck. Family members said that he was hit by a haul truck.
Medics took over life-saving measures that had been started by on-site medical personnel after the crash, but Lawe died at the scene. Family said that Lawe was working at the site as a heavy machine operator.
