Luxemburg-Casco School District places operational referendum on ballot

A third school district in Door and Kewaunee counties will go to voters in November to help fund its operations. The Luxemburg-Casco School District announced Tuesday that it will seek $1.8 million per year for three years through an operational referendum.

The proposed referendum would replace the three-year referendum approved in 2024, which also provides $1.8 million per year. Because of that, the district says the referendum would have a net-zero impact on its mill rate.
